We are proud to announce that our very own Zach Wu, the newly-inaugurated President of Youth Voices, has placed in the top 6 of the National Speech and Debate Association's National Tournament! This is no easy feat, and it now marks two major championships in a row where Zach has contended.
The process to even qualify for the National Tournament is very selective, with only about 600 of the thousands of high school Congressional debaters qualifying every year. After working tirelessly this season to make it to the championship, Zach rigorously competed for nearly 8 hours a day for an entire week straight against the world's best.
He triumphed, finishing in the top 6, delivering a stunning performance in the final round, and elevating his overall ranking to #6 in the world.
